Our approach
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or navigate without a mouse.
The website is designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target. This includes:
- Keyboard access and visible focus
- Logical headings and page landmarks
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Form labels and errors that do not rely on color alone
- Sufficient text and interface contrast
- Support for browser zoom and text resizing
- Reduced motion when requested by the operating system
- Captions or transcripts for time-based media where needed
Current status
Every page of this website is checked against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules before it is released. The checks combine automated testing with keyboard and screen-reader use on the pages that carry forms, navigation and interactive content.
Known limitations
The map preview on the contact page needs JavaScript. The Get directions link beside it works without JavaScript, and the same address is published on the imprint page.
